Gigio Buffone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gianluca Stempfel's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. If Alonzo Meili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 played minutes Ämmer Sportfreaks got a freekick which was hit by Dieter Giorgi. When Nistor Manea fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carp Team's protests and gave Nistor Manea a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Nistor Manea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Carp Team's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Cikaluk came free, but Gigio Buffone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iulian Angheloiu got free with Frederick Wertscher in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With splendid footwork Iulian Angheloiu arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 22nd minute. Frederick Wertscher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliodor Maftei in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Angheloiu in the 29th minute of play forced Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Frederick Wertscher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Dumitru Mutu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carp Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ämmer Sportfreaks the free kick. After a rather tough play, Carp Team's Dumitru Mutu got a free kick in the 44th minute. Gigio Buffone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Stempfel in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Alonzo Meili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigio Buffone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gianluca Stempfel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play Carp Team's Nistor Manea was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Nistor Manea kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Lukas Cikaluk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eliodor Maftei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eliodor Maftei came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Carp Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliodor Maftei couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ämmer Sportfreaks booed when Carp Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Maftei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigio Buffone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gianluca Stempfel in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Carp Team's zone, Alonzo Meili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigio Buffone came out of the goal and Alonzo Meili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute Gianluca Stempfel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigio Buffone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Tin Trudeau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gianluca Stempfel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Alexandru Gavrilă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Eliodor Maftei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carp Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliodor Maftei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederick Wertscher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alonzo Meili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigio Buffone having to interfere. Gianluca Stempfel struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gigio Buffone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ämmer Sportfreaks. Gigio Buffone made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Gianluca Stempfel sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Carp Team's Dumitru Mutu got a free kick in the 95th minute. Carp Team's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
