After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Marc Van Kestbeek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portus Ganda's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Van Kestbeek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Ado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robustiano Botello struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Jeroen Himschoot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guanacos. A collision led to Portus Ganda getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Pierre Van Leemputte hit a great ball. When Robustiano Botello came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Guanacos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Botello couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Portus Ganda booed when Guanacos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Shantala didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 minutes, Hermengildo Venceslas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guanacos and the Portus Ganda players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Guanacos getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Hermengildo Venceslas hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Danny Spoelberchs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiburcio Ado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre Van Leemputte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Robustiano Botello came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Guanacos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Botello couldn't finish the play. After 21 played minutes Portus Ganda got a freekick which was hit by Danny Spoelberchs. A collision led to Guanacos getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Eliseo Perico hit a great ball. Tiburcio Ado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Van Leemputte in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Guanacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Aznaro to maneuver through the defense. If Marc Van Kestbeek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Ado came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Portus Ganda's Ernst Jansens. But to his dismay, Ernst Jansens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robustiano Botello got free with Jeroen Himschoot in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lennert De Loose kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Botello came free, but Jeroen Himschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Guanacos's Bernardino Aznaro got a free kick in the 40th minute. Marc Van Kestbeek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Ado having to interfere. Andries Verstraeten kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Guanacos's Feliberto Shantala slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jeroen Himschoot. That made the score 2-1 after 46 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Pierre Van Leemputte made the kick off in the second half. When Feliberto Shantala came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Guanacos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Shantala couldn't finish the play. Jeroen Himschoot came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Guanacos's Feliberto Shantala. But to his dismay, Feliberto Shantala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 58 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Botello came free, but Jeroen Himschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes Guanacos got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Venceslas. In the 64th minute, Feliberto Shantala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeroen Himschoot was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Eliseo Perico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeroen Himschoot having to interfere. The referee gave Danny Spoelberchs a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 72nd minute, Danny Spoelberchs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Guanacos booed when Portus Ganda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Hoolemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliberto Shantala took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jeroen Himschoot. Portus Ganda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Portus Ganda defense, Robustiano Botello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeroen Himschoot. The Portus Ganda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeroen Himschoot should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Feliberto Shantala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeroen Himschoot. Portus Ganda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliberto Shantala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Feliberto Shantala sped through Portus Ganda's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeroen Himschoot. After a defensive mix-up in Portus Ganda's zone, Zeledon Ereinotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeroen Himschoot came out of the goal and Zeledon Ereinotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Guanacos were the better team. Guanacos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
