An unexpectedly hard shot by Dries Dirckx in the 27th minute of play forced Fajteri's goalkeeper Julij Kac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes Fajteri got a freekick which was hit by Ivek Majstorović. After a defensive mix-up in Fajteri's zone, Jochen Diericx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julij Kac came out of the goal and Jochen Diericx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute Christian Meys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julij Kac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alaga Burja hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the game, Armido Mikluž was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fajteri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brugge United the free kick. Armido Mikluž kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ivek Majstorović charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivek Majstorović the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Fajteri's Ivek Majstorović got a free kick in the 67th minute. Julij Kac came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Brugge United's Christian Meys. But to his dismay, Christian Meys quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Janes Goons hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Armido Mikluž made a precise shot to the right of Rudy Panhuijsen. Brugge United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Brugge United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
