The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicanor Bakar during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Los Materos FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Bakar. Lorenzo Bordat kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, FC Trefl Gdynia's Zygmunt Dabrowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Froilan Urtsin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Leonel Jaunzuria notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Trefl Gdynia's Jacek Sakowicz. Jacek Sakowicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacek Sakowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Bakar in the 30th minute of play. Froilan Urtsin was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Sebastian Piorno capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastian Piorno really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Froilan Urtsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Piorno in the 40th minute of play. After 48 played minutes Los Materos FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Vela. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Piorno made a kick off. With a little luck, FC Trefl Gdynia's Jacek Sakowicz got control of the ball when Nicanor Bakar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zygmunt Dabrowski charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zygmunt Dabrowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Los Materos FC booed when FC Trefl Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zygmunt Dabrowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Filip Piorno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Urtsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Materos FC's Froilan Urtsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Piorno in the 65th minute of play. Jacek Sakowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Vela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Jacek Sakowicz managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Los Materos FC's Leonel Jaunzuria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Dabrowski in the 81st minute of play forced Los Materos FC's goalkeeper Froilan Urtsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
