The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eusebio Eneas charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Eneas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Eusebio Eneas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nurkan Ereken hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Amadeo Frantzes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekber Baştürk having to interfere. Lefter Hasankeyf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stat Veritas FC's Silvestre Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozan Vefi in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Stat Veritas FC booed when D.e.s.n.a was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lefter Hasankeyf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aytuğ Gazel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes, Ozan Vefi made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Stat Veritas FC's Silvestre Fernandez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ekber Baştürk was a little too slow when Atilano Txema got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-1. After 29 minutes of play Stat Veritas FC's Eusebio Eneas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 30 played minutes Stat Veritas FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Eneas. After having played for 32 minutes, Ozan Vefi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. D.e.s.n.a's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ozan Vefi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilano Txema in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ekber Baştürk saved D.e.s.n.a from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Ozan Vefi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvestre Fernandez. Stat Veritas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ozan Vefi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 44th match minute, D.e.s.n.a was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aytuğ Gazel to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match, Atilano Txema got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ekber Baştürk was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atilano Txema was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Atilano Txema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekber Baştürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stat Veritas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Ozan Vefi scored to the left of an out of position Silvestre Fernandez, making the score, 1-3. Atilano Txema's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ekber Baştürk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Ekber Baştürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Txema, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Damian Maura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stat Veritas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Maura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ekber Baştürk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Atilano Txema's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ekber Baştürk was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. A collision led to D.e.s.n.a getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Nurkan Ereken hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Atilano Txema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekber Baştürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ekber Baştürk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilano Txema's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. When Damian Maura fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stat Veritas FC's protests and gave Damian Maura a yellow card for diving instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. D.e.s.n.a walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
