Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Candido Lauro started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Atlético Argentino's Jose Gasteiz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jose Gasteiz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atlético Argentino protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jose Gasteiz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 4 played minutes Atlético Argentino got a freekick which was hit by Jose Gasteiz. Laurenz Kerselaers struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Leon Urtzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KV Schoonwater. Leon Urtzi made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Matthias Persoons sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Laurenz Kerselaers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leon Urtzi. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Atlético Argentino's goal looked a bit too open when Gaetan Vanden Bossche came free, but Leon Urtzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicky Rauvoets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Lauro in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Candido Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Rauvoets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicky Rauvoets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Mattin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Cleto Paio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celestino Uhin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Candido Lauro made a precise shot to the right of Nicky Rauvoets. KV Schoonwater's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Lauro in the 46th minute of play forced KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Nicky Rauvoets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pieter-Jan Roelandts was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in KV Schoonwater's zone, Cleto Paio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicky Rauvoets came out of the goal and Cleto Paio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Gaetan Vanden Bossche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlético Argentino's Arturo Benet shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nicky Rauvoets but with some difficulty. David Mattin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cleto Paio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Nicky Rauvoets made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Atlético Argentino's Florentino Leizarraga got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 72 played minutes KV Schoonwater got a freekick which was hit by Pieter-Jan Roelandts. When Laurenz Kerselaers fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KV Schoonwater's protests and gave Laurenz Kerselaers a yellow card for diving instead. When Aristides Cilio came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Atlético Argentino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Cilio couldn't finish the play. Cleto Paio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Nicky Rauvoets made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, David Mattin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Argentino's supporters rose to their feet, but David Mattin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicky Rauvoets breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Cleto Paio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicky Rauvoets. KV Schoonwater's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cleto Paio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 97th minute, Pieter-Jan Roelandts made a precise shot to the right of Leon Urtzi. Atlético Argentino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Atlético Argentino were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
