Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 5 minutes, Bernardino Indalecio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charmander City and the Sport Club Cevada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bernardino Indalecio hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Charmander City's Saverio Ermano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Fantini. Luiz Fantini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Luiz Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Indalecio in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match, Saverio Ermano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luiz Fantini saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 18th minute, Charmander City's Teodoro Lorien dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Luiz Fantini was a little too slow when Fabio Valery got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 4-0. Sport Club Cevada's Luiz Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Indalecio in the 40th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabio Valery kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luiz Fantini. That made the score 5-0 in the 41 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Lorien was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Fabio Valery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Saverio Ermano notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Sport Club Cevada's Luiz Fantini. Luiz Fantini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Charmander City's Tiburcio Jax got a free kick in the 56th minute. Sport Club Cevada's Luiz Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Lorien in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseu Peixoto during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 played minutes Sport Club Cevada got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Peixoto. In the 76th match minute, Sport Club Cevada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Carioca to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Club Cevada's zone, Teodoro Lorien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fantini came out of the goal and Teodoro Lorien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd match minute, Sport Club Cevada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iuri de Sena to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Club Cevada's zone, Bernardino Gaur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fantini came out of the goal and Bernardino Gaur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Charmander City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
