The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leo Tome charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Tome the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leo Tome hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Joystick XXXV's Benigno Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Tome in the 4th minute of play. Benigno Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Ermano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 minutes, Rodrigo Qwinton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charmander City and the Joystick XXXV players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Rodrigo Qwinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Fabio Valery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joystick XXXV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charmander City the free kick. After 39 minutes of play Charmander City's Rodrigo Qwinton was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Charmander City's Rodrigo Qwinton got a free kick in the 40th minute. Leo Tome got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Leo Tome hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Bernardino Indalecio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benigno Abancens having to make a save. Jacinto Onofre hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Benigno Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Indalecio, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Joystick XXXV's Vicente Rufo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inocencio Anaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Joystick XXXV made a substitution. Evaristo Lluc replaced Vicente Rufo. Benigno Abancens made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Fabio Valery sent off a good shot on target. Armando Avellaneda hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Carlos Tiniebra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joystick XXXV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charmander City the free kick.
