Attila Nemes in the 2ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abelardo Rainerio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Bayern München FC.'s Lajos Héj got a free kick in the 7th minute. Anastasio Che kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zsolt Szántó in the 13th minute of play forced Lyons's goalkeeper Abelardo Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferenc Döbrögi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Maule, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayern München FC.'s Zsolt Szántó was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 16th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Abelardo Rainerio made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Attila Nemes sent off a good shot on target. Abelardo Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsolt Szántó in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Bayern München FC. were awarded a corner. István Cziráki went to the cornerflag to take it. Lyons's Abelardo Rainerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Lyons from getting a goal against them. After 34 minutes Lyons's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was István Cziráki who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in István Cziráki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lyons's Abelardo Rainerio did a great save. Abelardo Rainerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zsolt Szántó went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Abelardo Rainerio was a little too slow when Sámuel Polgár got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 44th minute, Anastasio Che hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedicto Maule made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Lyons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Ramond to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attila Nemes in the 51st minute of play. After 54 played minutes Lyons got a freekick which was hit by Rene Pelagius. The supporters of Lyons booed when Bayern München FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lajos Héj didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bayern München FC.'s zone, Adan Ramond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferenc Döbrögi came out of the goal and Adan Ramond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes in the game István Cziráki did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to József László. Anastasio Che recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Bayern München FC.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benedicto Maule fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ferenc Döbrögi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adan Ramond in the 73rd minute. Abelardo Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zsolt Szántó in the 76th minute of the match. Abelardo Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsolt Szántó in the 78th minute of play. The Bayern München FC. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
