With a little luck, Lyons's Abelardo Rainerio got control of the ball when Tommy Lindsten tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Saul Montez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lyons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Che in the 20th minute of play forced Frosta Härad IF's goalkeeper Urban Cedergård to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Tommy Lindsten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Rainerio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victor Ahlgren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Frosta Härad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Maule came free, but Urban Cedergård reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Maule in the 29th minute of play forced Frosta Härad IF's goalkeeper Urban Cedergård to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lyons's Clodoveo Llanos got a free kick in the 30th minute. Frosta Härad IF's Urban Cedergård played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Llanos in the 36th minute of play. Salvador Maule charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Maule the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Frosta Härad IF booed when Lyons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Maule didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Llanos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urban Cedergård. Frosta Härad IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Llanos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Clodoveo Llanos kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Clodoveo Llanos sped through Frosta Härad IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Urban Cedergård. Urban Cedergård came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lyons's Saul Montez. But to his dismay, Saul Montez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Ahlgren in the 67th minute of play forced Lyons's goalkeeper Abelardo Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Maule was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 68th match minute, Lyons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Maule to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th match minute, Lyons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Pelagius to maneuver through the defense. After 71 minutes of play, Frosta Härad IF's Olov Ennegren made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abelardo Rainerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clodoveo Llanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Victor Ahlgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frosta Härad IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lyons the free kick. Victor Ahlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Abelardo Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Ahlgren in the 86th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melquiades Frascuelo during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frosta Härad IF's Victor Ahlgren got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Lyons left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Frosta Härad IF.
