In the 5th minute Kazimierz Peczkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ejvin Møllekær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Peczkowski came free, but Ejvin Møllekær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Skellerup FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Kazimierz Peczkowski scored to the left of an out of position Ejvin Møllekær, making the score, 1-0. With an all-out effort, Grasshoppers Klucze's Ejvin Møllekær threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kazimierz Peczkowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 26 played minutes Skellerup FC got a freekick which was hit by Walter Fur. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wlodzimierz Basinski got free with Ejvin Møllekær in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wlodzimierz Basinski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Ejvin Møllekær when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wlodzimierz Fleszar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jørgen Ebler in the 42nd minute of play. Wlodzimierz Fleszar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jørgen Ebler went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jørgen Ebler to make the kick off. Walter Fur took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wlodzimierz Fleszar. Wlodzimierz Fleszar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Ejvin Møllekær showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Peczkowski in the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wlodzimierz Basinski in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ejvin Møllekær prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes into the match, Kazimierz Peczkowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ejvin Møllekær. Skellerup FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kazimierz Peczkowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Kazimierz Peczkowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ejvin Møllekær having to make a save. Wlodzimierz Fleszar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jørgen Ebler in the 68th minute. Grasshoppers Klucze's Wlodzimierz Fleszar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Grasshoppers Klucze from getting a goal against them. After having played for 73 minutes, Therkild Bergløv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skellerup FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Therkild Bergløv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wlodzimierz Basinski in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ejvin Møllekær saved Skellerup FC from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Fleszar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walter Fur. 84 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Fleszar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caspar Ambrink. Ejvin Møllekær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Peczkowski in the 93rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Grasshoppers Klucze had won after a very even match.
