José Büchel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harm Oorthuis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Kevin Poonoly hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the game, Dukaton f.c.'s Egbert Meulman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulrich Haas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 12th minute, Muhammet Cakir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harm Oorthuis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, Holfenhein's goal looked a bit too open when Egbert Meulman came free, but Ulrich Haas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Dukaton f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Gido Klap. After recieving a nice pass, Holfenhein's Muhammet Cakir tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Muhammet Cakir notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Dukaton f.c.'s Harm Oorthuis. Harm Oorthuis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, José Büchel put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Harm Oorthuis. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marick Wilson during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Dukaton f.c. getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Marick Wilson hit a great ball. Giel van Baarle kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Muhammet Cakir sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dukaton f.c.'s Harm Oorthuis didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muhammet Cakir in the 39th minute of play forced Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper Harm Oorthuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harm Oorthuis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Büchel, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The Dukaton f.c. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Holfenhein were winning 2-3.

Harm Oorthuis was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Muhammet Cakir capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Muhammet Cakir really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. After a rather tough play, Holfenhein's Muhammet Cakir got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 66 played minutes Dukaton f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Egbert Meulman. Harm Oorthuis made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Büchel in the 70th minute. A collision led to Dukaton f.c. getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Egbert Meulman hit a great ball. Harm Oorthuis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Valerio Elkuch. Muhammet Cakir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Harm Oorthuis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryan Werner during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ryan Werner kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. José Büchels short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Harm Oorthuis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 77 minutes, Egbert Meulman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dukaton f.c. and the Holfenhein players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dukaton f.c.'s Egbert Meulman got a free kick in the 77th minute. Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Muhammet Cakir 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-6. 88 minutes into the match, Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper Harm Oorthuis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Büchel. Harm Oorthuis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhammet Cakir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dukaton f.c.'s Ryan Werner got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Ryan Werner off the ground. Holfenhein made a substitution. Yves Schädler replaced Benjamin Hörmann. The supporters of Holfenhein booed when Dukaton f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Werner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holfenhein's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
