An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakab Szigethy in the 5th minute of play forced Real Matrei FC's goalkeeper Pål Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Isac Björk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ede Horváth was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Real Matrei FC's Claes Ek got a free kick in the 17th minute. Attila Kerékgyártó hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Real Matrei FC defense, Alfréd Horváth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pål Nyman. The Real Matrei FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pål Nyman should have stopped the shot. Jakab Szigethy kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Real Matrei FC's Pål Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnold Alexander-Arnold in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Real Matrei FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfréd Horváth came free, but Pål Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Sporting Savaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrián Mesterházy to maneuver through the defense. Sporting Savaria's Ede Horváth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Björklund in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Börje Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ede Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 52nd minute, Isac Björk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Real Matrei FC's Pål Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakab Szigethy in the 55th minute of play. Adrián Mesterházy kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Sporting Savaria's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Allbom came free, but Ede Horváth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sporting Savaria's Jakab Szigethy got a free kick in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Real Matrei FC's Isac Björk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ede Horváth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. A collision led to Sporting Savaria getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Arnold Alexander-Arnold hit a great ball. Ede Horváth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Björklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th match minute, Sporting Savaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrián Mesterházy to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Börje Björklund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ede Horváth. Sporting Savaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Börje Björklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. 96 minutes into the match, Sporting Savaria's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Allbom came free, but Ede Horváth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
