With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florencio Jaen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Palau Końskowola getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Hieronim Huchro hit a great ball. Palau Końskowola's Teofil Watarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Guerau in the 38th minute of play. Ludomir Sadlowski charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludomir Sadlowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Humberto Guerau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Palau Końskowola booed when Club El Progreso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Vergaray didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 played minutes Palau Końskowola got a freekick which was hit by Marek Piechocki. Feliks Skaradoski hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ksawery Awizo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Florencio Jaen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palau Końskowola. 88 minutes into the game, Mauro Vergaray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club El Progreso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palau Końskowola the free kick. After 88 played minutes Club El Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Vergaray. Hieronim Huchro kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Club El Progreso players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Palau Końskowola from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
