Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Pompiliu Bacalbașa made the kick off and thus started the match. Pompiliu Bacalbașa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Jaen having to interfere. Dorel Ionescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florencio Jaen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dorel Ionescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Ovidiu Nicorici came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Club El Progreso's Humberto Guerau. But to his dismay, Humberto Guerau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Florencio Jaen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Bacalbașa in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Club El Progreso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Senen to maneuver through the defense. Dorel Ionescu took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florencio Jaen. Florencio Jaen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Apolo Ramos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ovidiu Nicorici made a huge save. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Ovidiu Nicorici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Abaurre in the 41st minute of play. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Tiberiu Pantilimon got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horea Butuc kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Guerau was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Club El Progreso booed when ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Pantilimon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Artemio Hegoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Nicorici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Pompiliu Bacalbașa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florencio Jaen. That made the score 1-2 after 62 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Horea Butuc got a free kick in the 65th minute. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Tiberiu Pantilimon got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Apolo Ramos notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Ovidiu Nicorici. Ovidiu Nicorici was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Club El Progreso's Carolo Abaurre got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute Artemio Hegoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Nicorici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club El Progreso booed when ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Pantilimon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
