The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adelino Castro during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes Mochila FC got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Castro. Vágner Alagoano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dorian Porto came out and tried to block the shot, but Vágner Alagoano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute, Hudson Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Adelino Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, João Carlos Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mochila FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Carlos Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Vágner Alagoano made a precise shot to the right of Dorian Porto. Mochila FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 36 played minutes Mochila FC got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Castro. The supporters of Dal 3ello booed when Mochila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Alagoano in the 43rd minute of play forced Mochila FC's goalkeeper Dorian Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vágner Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Dorian Porto made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vágner Alagoano to strike the kick off in the second half. Luís Gustavo Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Dorian Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mochila FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. During this time Dal 3ello's players had a chance to rest. 61 minutes into the game, Adelino Castro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marquinhos de Sena. Adelino Castro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. 67 minutes into the game, Dal 3ello's Vágner Alagoano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorian Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The supporters of Dal 3ello booed when Mochila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Vágner Alagoano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dorian Porto was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 74th match minute, Mochila FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Dal 3ello were awarded a corner. Luís Gustavo Corrêa went to the cornerflag to take it. Vágner Alagoano might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorian Porto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vágner Alagoano ran back to his position shaking his head. Hudson Coelho hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Vágner Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Vágner Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dal 3ello's supporters rose to their feet, but Vágner Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorian Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mochila FC's attentive Marcelo Rosado managed to snatch the ball when Dida Amorim made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. When Vágner Alagoano came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Dal 3ello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vágner Alagoano couldn't finish the play.
