After 20 played minutes Flames FC got a freekick which was hit by Brady Block. The audience thought a goal was coming when Max Skräddare got free with Aimé Ham in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kent Chesnay kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Esbjörn Hellgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Lavallée, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Aimé Ham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Kalfhage in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Hans Lavallée shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Hellgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Hans Lavallée made a precise shot to the right of Esbjörn Hellgren. Wetterqvist Boys BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Beau Hinojosa hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Esbjörn Hellgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Chesnay, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Hans Lavallée could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Esbjörn Hellgren made a huge save. Darin Nunn hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Nord in the 78th minute of play forced Flames FC's goalkeeper Aimé Ham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esbjörn Hellgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kent Chesnay in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Max Skräddare in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aimé Ham saved Flames FC from getting behind. In the 96th minute John Richards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Hellgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
