An unexpectedly hard shot by Akşemseddin Ortaç in the 21st minute of play forced Ornopata's goalkeeper Walter Sala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Sala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Akşemseddin Ortaç's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Timur Sadun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Sala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Akşemseddin Ortaç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carno FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ensar Önder might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Sala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ornopata's Walter Sala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ensar Önder in the 35th minute of play. If Akşemseddin Ortaç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute, Akşemseddin Ortaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the game, Sebati Ergün was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carno FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ornopata the free kick. After 45 played minutes Carno FK got a freekick which was hit by Sebati Ergün. Carno FK's Süleyman Sebukalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moreno Conti in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Akşemseddin Ortaç made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Akşemseddin Ortaç got free with Walter Sala in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timur Sadun's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Walter Sala firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Burhan Refik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Sala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lefter Özakın, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burhan Refik in the 86th minute of play forced Ornopata's goalkeeper Walter Sala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Süleyman Sebukalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Virues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walter Sala made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Timur Sadun sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th match minute, Ornopata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Leceta to maneuver through the defense. Carno FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
