Jo van der Eycken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Amor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Quitilipi's Esteban Ioritz got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Sylvain Pauwels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goalkeeper Segundo Hartz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christopher Frans. Segundo Hartz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christopher Frans in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Teofilo Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo van der Eycken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Leobardo in the 19th minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Jo van der Eycken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Vedillo came free, but Jo van der Eycken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sylvain Pauwels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Segundo Hartz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christopher Frans got free with Segundo Hartz in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Amor hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Segundo Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Costermans in the 36th minute of play. SK Gullegem's Jo van der Eycken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Vedillo in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Christopher Frans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Gullegem and the Quitilipi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Quitilipi booed when SK Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Frans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 played minutes, Quitilipi's Esteban Ioritz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jo van der Eycken came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quitilipi reached it. Segundo Hartz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Costermans in the 43rd minute of the match. Jo van der Eycken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Vedillo in the 44th minute of play. Frank Costermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Segundo Hartz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Frank Costermans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sylvain Pauwels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quitilipi's Segundo Hartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christopher Frans in the 57th minute of play. Wart Hollants charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wart Hollants the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Wart Hollants hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jo van der Eycken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Amor went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Vedillo got free with Jo van der Eycken in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute Cristian Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo van der Eycken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jo van der Eycken didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Quitilipi's Segundo Hartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christopher Frans in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, SK Gullegem's Christopher Frans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Segundo Hartz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 80 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Costermans came free, but Segundo Hartz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Frans. In the 91st minute Frank Costermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Hartz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When SK Gullegem's Frank Costermans in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quitilipi's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute, Christopher Frans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bryan Stuyck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Quitilipi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
