The supporters of FC Pražští Pepíci booed when Capibaribe Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Pražští Pepíci's Emanuel Flégl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save FC Pražští Pepíci from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FC Pražští Pepíci's Emanuel Flégl got control of the ball when Eliseu Toscano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Adhemar Vergílio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Capibaribe Stars's Eliseu Toscano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 37th minute, Eliseu Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Vetešník made a kick off. In the 56th match minute, Capibaribe Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Pražští Pepíci's zone, Eliseu Toscano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Flégl came out of the goal and Eliseu Toscano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63rd play minutes Eliseu Toscano shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Emanuel Flégl and just under the crossbar into goal. When Nico Penha fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capibaribe Stars's protests and gave Nico Penha a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Capibaribe Stars getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Nico Penha hit a great ball. Pedro Luiz Brito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Flégl having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseu Toscano in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Flégl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Flégl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseu Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Flégl having to interfere. FC Pražští Pepíci's Emanuel Flégl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Toscano in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Capibaribe Stars getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Luís Antunes hit a great ball. In the 93rd match minute, Capibaribe Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Toscano to maneuver through the defense. Adhemar Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Vetešník in the 94th minute of play. The Capibaribe Stars support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
