An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Greenwood in the 10th minute of play forced Los Bepis's goalkeeper Ladislao Pietro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th match minute, American Airlines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayden Hammond to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Higinio Tomi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Cosme Moise got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cosme Moise's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Anthony Shields skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Cosme Moise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Pietro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phil Craft in the 25th minute of play. Ladislao Pietro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayden Hammond in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Los Bepis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Eztebe to maneuver through the defense. American Airlines's Dalton Priest got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Los Bepis got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Bixintxo. The supporters of American Airlines booed when Los Bepis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Tomi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalton Priest took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ladislao Pietro. Los Bepis's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ladislao Pietro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titus Guillory in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Bepis's Ubaldo Bixintxo got a free kick in the 35th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Mark Greenwood cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ladislao Pietro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Los Bepis defense, Titus Guillory kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ladislao Pietro. The Los Bepis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ladislao Pietro should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Phil Craft to make the kick off. Ladislao Pietro made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Titus Guillory sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Hayden Hammond took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Ladislao Pietro to make any attempt to save it. Los Bepis's Ladislao Pietro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Titus Guillory in the 69th minute of play. Dalton Priest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ladislao Pietro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislao Pietro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heriberto Conley in the 73rd minute. Heriberto Conley succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as American Airlines's Mark Greenwood slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ladislao Pietro. That made the score 0-6 after 78 minutes of play. 81 minutes into the match, Phil Craft dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ladislao Pietro, 0-7. Titus Guillory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Pietro having to interfere.
