Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Justo Tohias started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Leon Platense's Cecilio Garci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Tohias in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Leon Platense's Abel Neron got a free kick in the 7th minute. Cecilio Garci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Remigio in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Justo Tohias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cecilio Garci was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Leon Platense's Siro Damario got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute of the match Leon Platense got a corner. Cougars FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saul Beltza ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Cougars FC's Pascual Luzaide got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Luzaide in the 31st minute of play forced Leon Platense's goalkeeper Cecilio Garci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Pascual Luzaide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Garci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cougars FC booed when Leon Platense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Damario didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Pascual Luzaide who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leon Platense's Cecilio Garci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Pascual Luzaide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cougars FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leon Platense the free kick. After 45 played minutes Cougars FC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Luzaide. Siro Damario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Saul Beltza made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justo Tohias got free with Cecilio Garci in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th match minute, Leon Platense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Damario to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Luzaide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Belarmo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Justo Tohias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cecilio Garci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Barto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, Leon Platense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Neron to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Quin during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes Leon Platense got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Quin. In the 89th match minute, Cougars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Tohias to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacio Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 94 minutes of play Leon Platense's Siro Damario was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 95th minute, Siro Damario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
