The supporters of Black Knights FC booed when Cougars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Luzaide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nunez Salvidor charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nunez Salvidor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quintin Funk during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dylan Broussard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Luzaide in the 14th minute of play. If Eliseo Remigio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dylan Broussard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascual Luzaide went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Justo Tohias took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dylan Broussard to make any attempt to save it. Pascual Luzaide struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Dylan Broussard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cougars FC. 35 minutes into the match, Quintin Funk notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Cougars FC's Bertin Yashin. Bertin Yashin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Black Knights FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mickey Landreth hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Justo Tohias notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Black Knights FC's Dylan Broussard. Dylan Broussard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

With a little luck, Cougars FC's Bertin Yashin got control of the ball when Javier Mayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute Justo Tohias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Broussard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Black Knights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Wesley to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Black Knights FC's zone, Justo Tohias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylan Broussard came out of the goal and Justo Tohias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victoriano Tulio hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cougars FC booed when Black Knights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Barry didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cougars FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Oscar Lalla hit a great ball. Tyrell Garrison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dylan Broussard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Tohias, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Tyrell Garrison fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Knights FC's protests and gave Tyrell Garrison a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Tyrell Garrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo Iratze took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dylan Broussard. Black Knights FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 89th minute Justo Tohias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Broussard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cougars FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
