GORNIK PIASKI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 14th minute of the match Witold Markowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amadeu Koehler skillfully saved the ball. Ryszard Pyrtek was a little too slow when Joel Lopes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Bierfass came free, but Amadeu Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When GORNIK PIASKI's Herbert Gongola in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monumento Sports's goalie prevented a goal. Amadeu Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Dytrych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ryszard Pyrtek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Amadeu Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Dytrych in the 38th minute of play. Toninho Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Gongola in the 40th minute of play forced Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Amadeu Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes, Erivaldo Zanette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monumento Sports and the GORNIK PIASKI players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Monumento Sports getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Erivaldo Zanette hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Monumento Sports's zone, Stefan Bierfass stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Koehler came out of the goal and Stefan Bierfass tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stefan Bierfass sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herbert Gongola to strike the kick off in the second half. Amadeu Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Bierfass in the 55th minute of the match. GORNIK PIASKI's Ryszard Pyrtek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Lopes in the 56th minute of play. Stefan Bierfass fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Koehler having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Toninho Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, GORNIK PIASKI's Edgar Dytrych sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeu Koehler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of GORNIK PIASKI booed when Monumento Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Dytrych who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Amadeu Koehler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 70th minute Stefan Bierfass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Monumento Sports's Amadeu Koehler got control of the ball when Herbert Gongola tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, GORNIK PIASKI's Herbert Gongola made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeu Koehler was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the game, Toninho Arruda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monumento Sports's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GORNIK PIASKI the free kick. After a rather tough play, Monumento Sports's Toninho Arruda got a free kick in the 88th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Amadeu Koehler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herbert Gongola. The Monumento Sports support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
