Ciro Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to Spor Las Huevas getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jon Olalde hit a great ball. Fernandinho França took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cebrian Trinidad. Cebrian Trinidad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 13th minute, Fernandinho França left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Capixaba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Spor Las Huevas booed when Atlético Capixaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Fernandinho França cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Cebrian Trinidad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cebrian Trinidad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dieguinho Barros went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Quirze Lizana's late challenge caught a Atlético Capixaba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quirze Lizana helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Spor Las Huevas got a freekick which was hit by Quirze Lizana.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteve Villajane was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Spor Las Huevas getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Lorenzo Toral hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Romeu Diniz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cebrian Trinidad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Mede Torriba notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Atlético Capixaba's Marcelo Brito. Marcelo Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 60 minutes into the match, Atlético Capixaba's goal looked a bit too open when Quirze Lizana came free, but Marcelo Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Atlético Capixaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pereira to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Leopoldo de Amorim in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Spor Las Huevas's Diego Tijerina. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Capixaba's Dieguinho Barros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cebrian Trinidad. That made the score 1-5 after 68 minutes of play. Cebrian Trinidad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandinho França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Brito came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Spor Las Huevas's Quirze Lizana. But to his dismay, Quirze Lizana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Marcelo Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quirze Lizana in the 91st minute of the match. Fernandinho França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Cebrian Trinidad made a huge save. The Spor Las Huevas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atlético Capixaba's performance. The match ended with a win for Atlético Capixaba.
