Cheeky Nuts United's Hauk Horne got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Demetrio Gelsomini kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Hauk Horne scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferruccio Alfani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jim Thorvaldsen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ferruccio Alfani. BRAL VAL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of BRAL VAL booed when Cheeky Nuts United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finn Moe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Finn Moe's late challenge caught a BRAL VAL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Finn Moe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cheeky Nuts United's Finn Moe got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 47 minutes of play, Cheeky Nuts United's Hauk Horne made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferruccio Alfani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Hauk Horne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cheeky Nuts United's supporters rose to their feet, but Hauk Horne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferruccio Alfani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hauk Horne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ferruccio Alfani made a huge save. When Attilio Mauro came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the BRAL VAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio Mauro couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 62 in the game by Hauk Horne from a close distance when the talented Ferruccio Alfani managed to make a qualified save. BRAL VAL's players were relieved. Theodor Selnes came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by BRAL VAL's Attilio Mauro. But to his dismay, Attilio Mauro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Finn Moe hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Ferruccio Alfani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyrre Wille, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match, Kyrre Wille tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ferruccio Alfani saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kyrre Willes short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Ferruccio Alfani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 86 minutes, Kjartan Nyhagen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cheeky Nuts United and the BRAL VAL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Cheeky Nuts United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjartan Nyhagen to maneuver through the defense. If Hauk Horne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kyrre Wille succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 93rd playminute. The Cheeky Nuts United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cheeky Nuts United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
