Carlos Augusto Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio Alvarenga in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Kaká Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erivaldo Paraibano in the 20th minute of play forced C o n f i a n ç a - SE's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Délio Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Augusto Fantini came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Belmiro Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Belmiro Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Carlos Augusto Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Pernambucano in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Erivaldo Paraibano made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Augusto Fantini was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Coritiba Foot Ball Club getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Délio Alvarenga hit a great ball. Carlos Augusto Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Délio Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

The wind increased when Délio Alvarenga made the kick off in the second half. Délio Alvarenga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Carlos Augusto Fantini made a huge save. Carlos Augusto Fantini was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Erivaldo Paraibano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erivaldo Paraibano really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Carlos Augusto Fantini made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Délio Alvarenga sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Augusto Fantini was a little too slow when Lauro Pernambucano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-5. In the 70th minute Lauro Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Délio Alvarenga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Augusto Fantini came out and tried to block the shot, but Délio Alvarenga slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 71st minute. Ademar Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Délio Alvarenga took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Carlos Augusto Fantini to make any attempt to save it. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Carlos Augusto Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erivaldo Paraibano in the 98th minute of play. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
