After 2 minutes, Arvid Gulliksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Supreme FC and the AFC Ajax players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arvid Gulliksson kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. When Conny Mårtensson fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Supreme FC's protests and gave Conny Mårtensson a yellow card for diving instead. Menios Moschogiannis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Matsson in the 7th minute of play. When Supreme FC's Arvid Gulliksson in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC Ajax's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Arvid Gulliksson put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Menios Moschogiannis. In the 11th minute, Björn Sjö ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Menios Moschogiannis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 22nd match minute, AFC Ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paris Zigouris to maneuver through the defense. Christer Matsson took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Menios Moschogiannis. Menios Moschogiannis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 35th minute, AFC Ajax's Evaggelos Chatzipanagis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven-Arne Persson. Sven-Arne Persson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. A collision led to Supreme FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Magnus Vennersten hit a great ball. If Paris Zigouris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Supreme FC's Sven-Arne Persson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaggelos Chatzipanagis in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Martin Jonasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The AFC Ajax players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Supreme FC were winning 1-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Björn Sjö was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Supreme FC defense, Paris Zigouris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Arne Persson. The Supreme FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Arne Persson should have stopped the shot. Sven-Arne Persson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaggelos Chatzipanagis in the 55th minute of the match. Martin Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kleon Charalambidis hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, AFC Ajax's Paris Zigouris got a free kick in the 67th minute. The supporters of AFC Ajax booed when Supreme FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvid Gulliksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Arne Persson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akis Kontos in the 71st minute of play. Panagiotis Charalambakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute, Evaggelos Chatzipanagis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Arne Persson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-5. Supreme FC made a substitution. Petter Emander replaced Kjell Ljungberg. Supreme FC made a substitution. Nils-Emil Berg replaced Christer Matsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Sjö in the 83rd minute of play forced AFC Ajax's goalkeeper Menios Moschogiannis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Supreme FC's Sven-Arne Persson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaggelos Chatzipanagis in the 93rd minute of play. Supreme FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
