Coritiba Foot Ball Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Ler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kléber Schmidt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sugoi went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Paulinho Neiva lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Cristian Sugoi struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Kléber Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juguemos con el 5. Arnulfo Cedro hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Edu Alcântara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Ler having to make a save. 39 minutes into the match, Erivaldo Paraibano notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Juguemos con el 5's David Ler. David Ler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute, Juguemos con el 5's Cristian Sugoi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erivaldo Paraibano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cristian Sugoi fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juguemos con el 5's protests and gave Cristian Sugoi a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Juguemos con el 5 got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sugoi. David Ler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erivaldo Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Ramiro Pacifico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Marcelo Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Ler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Erivaldo Paraibano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Ler. That made the score 3-3 after 78 minutes of play. After 81 minutes, Remo do Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coritiba Foot Ball Club and the Juguemos con el 5 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Juguemos con el 5 booed when Coritiba Foot Ball Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Etxekopar kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
