The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, João Reis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Supreme FC's Sven-Arne Persson. Sven-Arne Persson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Carlos Augusto Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Gulliksson in the 7th minute of play. Björn Sjö struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Carlos Augusto Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Supreme FC. Björn Sjö who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Augusto Fantini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Arvid Gulliksson in the 15th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Carlos Augusto Fantini had great luck who in the 17thth minute grab hold of the ball when Björn Sjö from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 20 minutes into the match, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Strömberg came free, but Carlos Augusto Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Arne Persson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Supreme FC's Jarl Askstedt got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Joel de Lima took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sven-Arne Persson. Supreme FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 24 minutes, Frank Strömberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Supreme FC and the C o n f i a n ç a - SE players grew even worse after the yellow card. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Carlos Augusto Fantini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save C o n f i a n ç a - SE from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Carlos Augusto Fantini got control of the ball when Christer Matsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Supreme FC defense, Olavo Carioca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Arne Persson. The Supreme FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Arne Persson should have stopped the shot. Björn Sjö's late challenge caught a C o n f i a n ç a - SE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn Sjö helped the player get up and apologised. Björn Sjö in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Augusto Fantini, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Björn Sjö did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Carlos Augusto Fantini 38 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Supreme FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olavo Carioca came free, but Sven-Arne Persson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to C o n f i a n ç a - SE getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Joel de Lima hit a great ball. Olavo Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enio Furtado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th play minute Enio Furtado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sven-Arne Persson. 2-3. Sven-Arne Persson made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Enio Furtado sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Supreme FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Frank Strömberg hit a great ball. Arvid Gulliksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Fantini having to interfere. Jarl Askstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. With a little luck, Supreme FC's Sven-Arne Persson got control of the ball when Enio Furtado tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Supreme FC's Björn Sjö sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Augusto Fantini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Augusto Fantini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th match minute, Supreme FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Vennerlund to maneuver through the defense. After 97 played minutes, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Joel de Lima shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sven-Arne Persson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C o n f i a n ç a - SE reached it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C o n f i a n ç a - SE had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
