Svend Blomner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Orlando Quin made a huge save. A collision led to Unidad de Matanza getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ricardo Maria hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Bjarne Eigil made a precise shot to the right of Orlando Quin. Unidad de Matanza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Paulino Arias hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Arias to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Quin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moritz Krabdrup, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vestegnens Betonhelte's zone, Isidro Lidon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ebbe Høgenhaug came out of the goal and Isidro Lidon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ebbe Høgenhaug stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedicto Lucado's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Isidro Lidon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Moritz Krabdrup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Quin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ture Vellis fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vestegnens Betonhelte's protests and gave Ture Vellis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Unidad de Matanza booed when Vestegnens Betonhelte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ture Vellis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Benedicto Lucado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unidad de Matanza's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Lucado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ebbe Høgenhaug breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Isidro Lidon made the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Lucado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unidad de Matanza's Isidro Lidon got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Isidro Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vestegnens Betonhelte getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ture Vellis hit a great ball. Benedicto Lucado did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Ebbe Høgenhaug 83 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Vestegnens Betonhelte defense, Benedicto Lucado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ebbe Høgenhaug. The Vestegnens Betonhelte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ebbe Høgenhaug should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Unidad de Matanza players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
