Ebbe Høgenhaug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Arseanu in the 42nd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Alin Giurcă made the kick off in the second half. When Alin Giurcă fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Maci -MM-'s protests and gave Alin Giurcă a yellow card for diving instead. Alin Giurcă hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Ebbe Høgenhaug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezar Boia, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vestegnens Betonhelte's zone, Alin Giurcă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ebbe Høgenhaug came out of the goal and Alin Giurcă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alin Giurcă in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ebbe Høgenhaug prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ebbe Høgenhaug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Spoială, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Maci -MM-'s Bogdan Neaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svend Blomner in the 72nd minute of play. In the 72nd minute Svend Blomner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Neaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Neaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moritz Krabdrup in the 73rd minute of play. FC Maci -MM-'s Alin Giurcă got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Vestegnens Betonhelte's Ebbe Høgenhaug got control of the ball when Alin Giurcă tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Ture Vellis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vestegnens Betonhelte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Maci -MM- the free kick. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vestegnens Betonhelte! The goalkeeper, Ebbe Høgenhaug, was totally fooled by FC Maci -MM-'s Aristide Hodorog, who 80 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, FC Maci -MM-'s Eugen Spoială got a free kick in the 97th minute. The supporters of FC Maci -MM- booed when Vestegnens Betonhelte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ture Vellis didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
