KS Junior's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonny Villafranca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 23 minutes into the match, KS Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Villafranca came free, but Cyryl Marosz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Jonny Villafranca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cyryl Marosz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Manfred Ugalde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cyryl Marosz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Witalis Damazki fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Junior's protests and gave Witalis Damazki a yellow card for diving instead. Witalis Damazki hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Cyryl Marosz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Ugalde in the 28th minute of play. Witomir Zima's late challenge caught a CS La Libertad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Witomir Zima helped the player get up and apologised. 31 minutes into the game, CS La Libertad's Jonny Villafranca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cyryl Marosz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. KS Junior's Cyryl Marosz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save KS Junior from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adalberto Guevara got free with Cyryl Marosz in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee showed Patryk Skorny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of CS La Libertad booed when KS Junior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patryk Skorny didn't get a good kick on the ball. CS La Libertad's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
