Brakkies New Bastards's Jarno Sielis suffered a sprained foot after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Brakkies New Bastards made a substitution. Vincent Van Casteren replaced Jarno Sielis. Xove Bernedo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Nicolas van Hollebecke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzales Alfeiran in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Lorenz Van Aertvinck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zenaido Urtiaran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Brakkies New Bastards's Alexander Vissenaekers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zenaido Urtiaran. That made the score 1-1 after 38 minutes of play. Gonzales Alfeiran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Nicolas van Hollebecke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Vissenaekers charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Vissenaekers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexander Vissenaekers kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzales Alfeiran to strike the kick off in the second half. If Axel Van de Plas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Montevideo City Torque defense, Matijs Dejonghe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zenaido Urtiaran. The Montevideo City Torque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zenaido Urtiaran should have stopped the shot. Gonzales Alfeiran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas van Hollebecke having to interfere. After 63 minutes of play, Montevideo City Torque's Xove Bernedo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas van Hollebecke was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zenaido Urtiaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Van de Plas, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. When Gonzales Alfeiran came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Montevideo City Torque fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzales Alfeiran couldn't finish the play. During the 85th minute of the match Alexander Vissenaekers completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alexander Vissenaekers a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 85th minute, Alexander Vissenaekers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Montevideo City Torque's Gonzales Alfeiran got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Montevideo City Torque failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
