The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes IGUIPORÃ FC got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Veloso. Alfredo Paes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Montrel Sobrado in the 14th minute. With an all-out effort, Criciúma Esporte Clube's Alfredo Paes threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nuxila Urrejola, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alfredo Paes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ur Cribell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Alfredo Paes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ur Cribell in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Criciúma Esporte Clube were awarded a corner. Claudinei Ruich went to the cornerflag to take it. Montrel Sobrado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Paes having to make a save. Alfredo Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Montrel Sobrado, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Montrel Sobrado in the 88th minute of play forced IGUIPORÃ FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Criciúma Esporte Clube were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
