With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Alaerts in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Chago saved Las Momias F. C. from getting behind. The supporters of FC Ouagadougou National booed when Las Momias F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Baladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Diego Alaerts notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Las Momias F. C.'s Evaristo Chago. Evaristo Chago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Las Momias F. C.'s goalkeeper Evaristo Chago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Evaristo Chago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Van Eeckhout in the 32nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Las Momias F. C. defense, Diego Alaerts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Chago. The Las Momias F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Chago should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd match minute, Las Momias F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Emesto to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Alaerts to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Alaerts got free with Evaristo Chago in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Las Momias F. C. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Baldomiro Gorri hit a great ball. Robbe Van Der Taelen kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Diego Alaerts made a precise shot to the right of Evaristo Chago. Las Momias F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 65 minutes of play, FC Ouagadougou National's Jeremie Sterkx made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Chago was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leopoldo Formerio kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ivan Lidon hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Diego Alaerts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Evaristo Chago came out and tried to block the shot, but Diego Alaerts slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 74th minute. Daan Owerckx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingo Rosio went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Evaristo Chago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Alaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Las Momias F. C.'s goalkeeper Evaristo Chago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernt Van Eeckhout. Evaristo Chago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Alaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Baldomiro Gorri hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Jeffrey Rits recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Ouagadougou National eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
