Cercadinho's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Barniszke in the 47th minute of play forced Cercadinho's goalkeeper Rafa Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Rafa Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Pluciennik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eurico de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Boleslaw Marchlewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Cercadinho players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
