With a little luck, Kind of Blue's Freddie Söderlund got control of the ball when Elias Petrigai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anders Mellin kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Kind of Blue's Freddie Söderlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Jaizki in the 6th minute of play. Everardo Meder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Vinström in the 8th minute of play. Freddie Söderlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Jaizki in the 9th minute of the match. If Arsenio Jaizki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Jaizki came free, but Freddie Söderlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Amaya got free with Freddie Söderlund in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anders Mellin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Meder having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Enrique Venerando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Söderlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tage Vestlund fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kind of Blue's protests and gave Tage Vestlund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Kind of Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Vestlund to maneuver through the defense. Jens-Ove Käcker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathias Lindman during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of C.A.Independiente booed when Kind of Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Lindman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jens-Ove Käcker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Meder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Käcker in the 40th minute of the match. Everardo Meder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Vinström's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Elias Petrigai made the kick off in the second half. Allan Vinström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Everardo Meder skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 57th match minute, Kind of Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Mellin to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Kind of Blue's Everardo Meder threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Allan Vinström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Kind of Blue's Richard Möller got a free kick in the 66th minute. Everardo Meder came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kind of Blue's Fredric Botvidsson. But to his dismay, Fredric Botvidsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Kind of Blue getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jens-Ove Käcker hit a great ball. Freddie Söderlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Jaizki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Independiente's zone, Allan Vinström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Meder came out of the goal and Allan Vinström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fredric Botvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper Everardo Meder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Allan Vinström. Everardo Meder made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Allan Vinström sent off a good shot on target. The Kind of Blue players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
