Ticho Larrangos took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bertil Hammarbäck. Bertil Hammarbäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bertil Hammarbäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emeterio Astiago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertil Hammarbäck came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Emeterio Astiago. But to his dismay, Emeterio Astiago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 23rd match minute, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Amescua to maneuver through the defense. Ticho Larrangos hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Smurfarna's Bertil Hammarbäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emeterio Astiago in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bengt Hamberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustau Ageitos was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Smurfarna's Bertil Hammarbäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emeterio Astiago in the 37th minute of play. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Gustau Ageitos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol from getting a goal against them. The Smurfarna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Bengt Hamberg made the kick off in the second half. When Emeterio Astiago came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emeterio Astiago couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emeterio Astiago got free with Bertil Hammarbäck in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arvid Vallgren kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the match, Ticho Larrangos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bertil Hammarbäck saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Smurfarna getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Johan Sundberg hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Hori Malet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Hammarbäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertil Hammarbäck made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Emeterio Astiago sent off a good shot on target. Gustau Ageitos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henry Sandberg went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Smurfarna's Bertil Hammarbäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ticho Larrangos in the 83rd minute of play. Ticho Larrangos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol booed when Smurfarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Forssell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertil Hammarbäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hori Malet, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Erasmo Amescua charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmo Amescua the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Erasmo Amescua hit a great ball. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
