Hubert Linquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Ranieri having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Claudio Garibaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Jörgen Blom in the 8th minute really tested Andrea Ranieri's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Carloforte f.c. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Dave Ottaviani hit a great ball. In the 13th minute of the match Jörgen Blom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrea Ranieri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of The Heren Istarion booed when Carloforte f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Capasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Heren Istarion's Konrad Stephansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Garibaldi in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carloforte f.c.'s Angelo Vitale got a free kick in the 19th minute. Andrea Ranieri acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jörgen Blom. The Heren Istarion's Villiam Juhlin got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Jonny Moberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of The Heren Istarion booed when Carloforte f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Garibaldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinando Carosella charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinando Carosella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ferdinando Carosella hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinando Carosella made a kick off. Andrea Ranieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Linquist in the 52nd minute of the match. Dave Ottaviani's late challenge caught a The Heren Istarion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dave Ottaviani helped the player get up and apologised. Dave Ottaviani hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. A collision led to Carloforte f.c. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Claudio Garibaldi hit a great ball. Dave Ottaviani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferdinando Carosella was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 68 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio De Leonardis. After 69 played minutes, The Heren Istarion's Jörgen Blom shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andrea Ranieri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Heren Istarion reached it. Dave Ottaviani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Stephansson having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dave Ottaviani got free with Konrad Stephansson in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Angelo Vitale fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carloforte f.c.'s protests and gave Angelo Vitale a yellow card for diving instead. Andrea Ranieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villiam Juhlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. The Heren Istarion fully deserved thier win.
