Woopbongo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zagłębie Dąbrowskie the free kick. Thomas Kielstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zbyszek Olejarz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Dalkvist was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 21st minute Zbyszek Olejarz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Dalkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbyszek Olejarz took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Dalkvist. Tobias Dalkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 25 minutes into the match, Zbyszek Olejarz notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Woopbongo's Tobias Dalkvist. Tobias Dalkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Juliusz Marek fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's protests and gave Juliusz Marek a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Zagłębie Dąbrowskie got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Marek. Tobias Dalkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Marek, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Bernard Kieca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Dalkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Tobias Dalkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliusz Marek in the 36th minute of the match. Woopbongo's Tobias Dalkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Banas in the 37th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Woopbongo's goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Rydzyk came free, but Tobias Dalkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Gustafsson in the 46th minute of play forced Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Lucjan Oborski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Zagłębie Dąbrowskie were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Stefan Snell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucjan Oborski having to make a save. Tobias Dalkvist came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Barnaba Banas. But to his dismay, Barnaba Banas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Woopbongo's Tobias Dalkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Marek in the 61st minute of play. Woopbongo's Tobias Dalkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Woopbongo from getting a goal against them. Lucjan Oborski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tobias Dalkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbyszek Olejarz in the 77th minute. Tobias Dalkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliusz Marek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Wawrzyniec Ewertowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wawrzyniec Ewertowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Woopbongo's Tobias Dalkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Banas in the 91st minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Zagłębie Dąbrowskie left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Woopbongo.
