The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anthimos Chatzikostas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Şerbănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Apostolos Kazanidis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for FC PIETROSUL -MM-. Ştefan Pivniceru stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anthimos Chatzikostas. 0-1. In the 11th minute, Răzvan Şerbănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Renos Koutsoukos came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the GOD OF WAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renos Koutsoukos couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renos Koutsoukos got free with Horia Găman in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Efthimis Anagnostakis took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Horia Găman to make any attempt to save it. In the 20th minute, GOD OF WAR's Panos Karnezis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Horia Găman. Horia Găman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 24th minute, GOD OF WAR's Lakis Laboglou dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Renos Koutsoukos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Horia Găman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fragiskos Bouzios kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Horia Găman got control of the ball when Renos Koutsoukos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anastasios Karidis kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. GOD OF WAR's Renos Koutsoukos got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renos Koutsoukos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alketas Vertsotis kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marius Lipan to make the kick off. After some careless play in the FC PIETROSUL -MM- defense, Renos Koutsoukos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horia Găman. The FC PIETROSUL -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horia Găman should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s zone, Renos Koutsoukos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horia Găman came out of the goal and Renos Koutsoukos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Horia Găman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Eusebiu Barbă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Panos Karnezis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Lakis Laboglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Găman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee showed Renos Koutsoukos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Renos Koutsoukos hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Fondas Sakaridis struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Horia Găman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GOD OF WAR. Horia Găman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fondas Sakaridis, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. GOD OF WAR walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
