The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Gheorghe Bârza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Lothlorien and the GOD OF WAR players grew even worse after the yellow card. 8 minutes into the game, Marcu Panait recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anthimos Chatzikostas. Marcu Panait showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 11th minute Marcu Panait shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthimos Chatzikostas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Marcu Panait got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, GOD OF WAR's goalkeeper Anthimos Chatzikostas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcu Panait. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fc Lothlorien fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! The referee gave GOD OF WAR a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Orestis Koskinopoulos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fc Lothlorien's Marian Dudău. 1-1. A collision led to GOD OF WAR getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alketas Vertsotis hit a great ball. After 24 minutes of play, Fc Lothlorien's Tudor Vulcănescu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anthimos Chatzikostas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dorin Bălan hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Fc Lothlorien's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Tsiabras came free, but Marian Dudău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to GOD OF WAR getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alketas Vertsotis hit a great ball. The supporters of Fc Lothlorien booed when GOD OF WAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasios Karidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anthimos Chatzikostas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luca Zglimbea. A collision led to GOD OF WAR getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Anastasios Karidis hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes GOD OF WAR got a freekick which was hit by Michalis Bouras. After 47 minutes of play, GOD OF WAR's Anthimos Farmakatos made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marian Dudău was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Mugurel Chelaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tudor Vulcănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Anthimos Chatzikostas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panos Tsiabras hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anthimos Chatzikostas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anthimos Farmakatos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Marian Dudău made a huge save. Mihnea Marica charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihnea Marica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fc Lothlorien getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Mihnea Marica hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes GOD OF WAR got a freekick which was hit by Orestis Koskinopoulos. After having played for 79 minutes, Anthimos Farmakatos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GOD OF WAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthimos Farmakatos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Lothlorien's zone, Michalis Bouras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Dudău came out of the goal and Michalis Bouras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, GOD OF WAR's Alketas Vertsotis got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, GOD OF WAR's Anthimos Farmakatos got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute of the match Valer Mălaimare sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anthimos Chatzikostas skillfully saved the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
