Emil Walczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Gherasim, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 18 minutes of play, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Costel Vlas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emil Walczak was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the game, Dobromir Bochynski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Nichifor Badea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Żuberia United's Artur Olender got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Vlas in the 35th minute of play forced Żuberia United's goalkeeper Emil Walczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Gherasim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Walczak having to interfere. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Nicodim Agulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costel Vlas made a kick off. Costel Vlas scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Walczak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV booed when Żuberia United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Gizynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nichifor Badea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Bochynski in the 61st minute of play. Krzysztof Solak hit a great ball. David Ene kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The long shot by Jedrzej Pleban in the 92nd minute really tested Nichifor Badea's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. There was no doubt that MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV were the better team. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
