B68 Toftir's Tímon Weiner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save B68 Toftir from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claus Hess during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of B68 Toftir booed when Sheriff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babbis Megalios didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes Sheriff got a freekick which was hit by Daniil Masourakis. After having played for 23 minutes, Pascal Schneider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. B68 Toftir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascal Schneider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute Omiros Prikourakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tímon Weiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tímon Weiner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Argyris Bogias in the 27th minute. Babbis Megalios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Tímon Weiner made a huge save. A hard shot 29 in the game by Babbis Megalios from a close distance when the talented Tímon Weiner managed to make a qualified save. B68 Toftir's players were relieved. Tímon Weiner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Omiros Prikourakis hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Robin Meier hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Sheriff's Daniil Masourakis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tímon Weiner but with some difficulty. Tímon Weiner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Babbis Megalios in the 46th minute. B68 Toftir's Claus Hess got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Claus Hess off the ground. In the 48th match minute, B68 Toftir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claus Hess to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Robin Meier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Takis Lazakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Argyris Bogias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tímon Weiner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 68 minutes, Babbis Megalios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 73rd minute of the match Lakis Panagiotopoulos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tímon Weiner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tímon Weiner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omiros Prikourakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tímon Weiner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omiros Prikourakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. B68 Toftir's Tímon Weiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argyris Bogias in the 77th minute of play. When Thalis Koulouris fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sheriff's protests and gave Thalis Koulouris a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Thalis Koulouris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. B68 Toftir's Tímon Weiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argyris Bogias in the 81st minute of play. Philip Korner hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Sheriff's Thalis Koulouris in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye B68 Toftir's goalie prevented a goal. B68 Toftir's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniil Masourakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 95 minutes into the game, Sheriff's Argyris Bogias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tímon Weiner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Babbis Megalios in the 99th minute of play forced B68 Toftir's goalkeeper Tímon Weiner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Sheriff were the better team. Sheriff's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
