Demetrio Persichetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefanos Topoudis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Stella, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Aliverpool's Panos Bourekakos got a free kick in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demetrio Persichetti got free with Stefanos Topoudis in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, Panagiotis Antonakoglou notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of PowerHawKings's Carmine Passalacqua. Carmine Passalacqua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Demetrio Persichetti to make the kick off. If Demetrio Persichetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domenico Stella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Topoudis having to interfere. Carmine Passalacqua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panos Bourekakos in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Stella in the 74th minute of play forced Aliverpool's goalkeeper Stefanos Topoudis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Demetrio Persichetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefanos Topoudis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute Domenico Stella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefanos Topoudis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Aliverpool defense, Domenico Stella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefanos Topoudis. The Aliverpool fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefanos Topoudis should have stopped the shot. The Aliverpool players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented PowerHawKings from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
