Giovana F C's Adilson Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Farias in the 8th minute of play. Amado Farias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Adilson Pirani when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Arruda in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Curcio saved C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo from getting behind. Adilson Pirani made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Amado Farias sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Aureliano Leoiar took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Adilson Pirani to make any attempt to save it. Prospero Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Arruda in the 36th minute of the match. After 41 minutes, Amado Farias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo and the Giovana F C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sixto Rafel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Aureliano Leoiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Aureliano Leoiar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Adilson Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Romero in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 played minutes C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Romero. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Doriva de Alcântara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Luiz Guilherme Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Giovana F C's Adilson Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Farias in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Leoiar in the 91st minute of play forced Giovana F C's goalkeeper Adilson Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Giovana F C's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Farias came free, but Adilson Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
