After having played for 11 minutes, Freddy Urbasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Punta Alvear's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Urbasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Freddy Urbasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Punta Alvear's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Urbasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermín Aceves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Telo's late challenge caught a AGT Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Telo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Punta Alvear was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Telo to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Lazaro Aizpurua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramon Gabino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tulio Barbosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramon Gabino came out and tried to block the shot, but Tulio Barbosa slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 28th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Ruben Guilabertus notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of AGT Team's Fermín Aceves. Fermín Aceves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fermín Aceves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Guilabertus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fermín Aceves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Gurutz's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. If Marcos Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Guilabertus in the 41st minute of play forced AGT Team's goalkeeper Fermín Aceves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcos Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Urbasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fermín Aceves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

Mustafá Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Gabino having to interfere. 54 minutes in the game, Freddy Urbasa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fermín Aceves having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Punta Alvear was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Fidele to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Punta Alvear's Fermín Aceves threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Freddy Urbasa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 63 minutes into the match, AGT Team's goalkeeper Fermín Aceves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Guilabertus. Fermín Aceves came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Punta Alvear's Leon Gurutz. But to his dismay, Leon Gurutz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 71st minute Zeledon Fidele suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. 71 minutes into the game, Garci Macho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AGT Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Punta Alvear the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Garci Macho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AGT Team's Fermín Aceves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save AGT Team from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, Punta Alvear's Marcos Telo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Fermín Aceves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Nataniel in the 79th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Punta Alvear got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Telo. When Freddy Urbasa fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punta Alvear's protests and gave Freddy Urbasa a yellow card for diving instead. Angelo Gómez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fermín Aceves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Gurutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Ruben Guilabertus could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Fermín Aceves however easily saved by the left post. In the 95th match minute, AGT Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Gómez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Gurutz in the 96th minute of play forced AGT Team's goalkeeper Fermín Aceves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Punta Alvear left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AGT Team.
