The Estudiantes de La Plata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half Estudiantes de La Plata were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cornelio Iruinea was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Estudiantes de La Plata had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
