Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edgard Baldovino got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute Zeca Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo de Almeida in the 9th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Etxeberri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes, Planet Caravan's Aníbal Guedes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filiberto Etxeberri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Planet Caravan reached it. Filiberto Etxeberri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamim Jacinto's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Dominix got free with Jonathan Teixeira in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dedê Vinhas hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With 28 minutes on the clock, Erasmo Leão commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 29th match minute, Planet Caravan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Leão to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Lucio Ourente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menchu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Ourente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filiberto Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 35 minutes of play, Menchu FC's Edgard Baldovino made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 38 played minutes Planet Caravan got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Félix. Menchu FC's Lucio Ourente couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Planet Caravan. A collision led to Planet Caravan getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Serginho Félix hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Benjamim Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamim Jacinto made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Serginho Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when Planet Caravan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiberto Etxeberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Guedes in the 61st minute of play. Planet Caravan's Jonathan Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Meder in the 64th minute of play. Benjamim Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Etxeberri having to interfere. Zeca Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Etxeberri having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Planet Caravan's José Félix got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Planet Caravan's zone, Edgard Baldovino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Teixeira came out of the goal and Edgard Baldovino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Epifanio Mirande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Menchu FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jonathan Honesto hit a great ball. Filiberto Etxeberri acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zeca Mesquita. Filiberto Etxeberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamim Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Planet Caravan's Aníbal Guedes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filiberto Etxeberri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Benjamim Jacinto took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filiberto Etxeberri. Filiberto Etxeberri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Menchu FC could leave the field as winners, despite Planet Caravan having more of the ball for most of the match.
